CIRA invites Canadians show off their .CA website
Create a video and win with the showusyour.ca contest!
Ottawa, March 10, 2010 – The deadline to submit a video for the Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s (CIRA) ShowUsYour.CA contest is fast approaching. Canadians have until March 15, 2010 to submit a short to show off their .CA website in a short video. The grand prize winner will receive a MacBook Pro and be featured in a future .CA marketing campaign.
So far, CIRA has received videos from a musician, graphic designers and artists, and even a class of grade five students who produce their own podcast. To view the entries, visit CIRA’s YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/ciranews.
The videos will be shortlisted by a panel of judges, and beginning March 19, the public will then have the opportunity to vote for their favourite among the shortlist, choosing the winner. As an added bonus, everyone who votes will be entered into a draw to win a Flip UltraHD camcorder.
Video testimonials must be no longer than three minutes. Entrants are asked to upload their videos to YouTube through the online contest entry form, available at www.showusyour.ca.
As well as the grand prize, the first runner-up will receive a 64GB iPod touch, and the second runner-up will receive a Flip UltraHD camcorder.
